I'm very new to this world so please be patient with me...Where to start...I suppose the beginning...I have been married to the most amazing man in the world for 5 1/2 years. He is my best friend and the love of my life. I know, without a doubt, that no matter what happens in my life, he will be by my side and has my back. We have two adorable, crazy, energetic little boys. They are complete nuts, they drive me completely nuts at times, and without them I would go completely nuts. I am blessed to be able to stay home with them every day and watch them grow and change. Jackson, our oldest, is obsessed with trains. He can spot a train in a picture no matter how tiny it may be. He's funny, sweet, loving, and emotional. Luke, our baby, is my little red-headed cuddle bug. He spends a good portion of the day attached to my hip. He adores his big brother and copies every move he makes. He's getting to be such a big boy and learning new things and saying new words every day. It makes me a little bit sad.
Being the only girl among all boys (even our dog is a boy!) can be a wee bit trying at times and can be wonderful at others. I have four fierce protectors (including Bailey-our weenie dog) and am the Queen of the Castle:) It really is a nice position to be in most of the time:) This blog is a place for me to escape the chaos and noise that is my home. I stole the name, "Little Piece of Quiet" from the name of a book that I've been reading (in the rare moments I have time to read-I have about ten books that I am 'currently reading'). My own piece of quietness in a crazy, noisy world.
